About

Exceptional set of two pot chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen, manufactured by Fritz Hansen in Denmark in the 1950s.

These beautiful chairs really stand out thanks to their original leather upholstery, that still remains in amazing condition with a beautiful patina. They were bought from their 1st owner who bought the chairs in 1959 and clearly took very good care of them. The base of these iconic pieces are made from high quality chrome metal, all together giving these chairs a very luxurious appearance that would make a true eyecatcher in any modern interior.

In good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) was one of Denmark's most influential 20th century architects and designers. Both his buildings and products, like his swan and egg chairs, combine modernist ideals with a Nordic love of naturalism.
