Carl Malmsten Set of Ten Armchairs in Teak and Green-Blue Upholstery

About the Item

Carl Malmsten, set of ten dining chairs, teak, fabric, brass, Sweden, circa 1970 These high back armchairs are designed by the Swedish designer Carl Malmsten (1888-1972). These elegant armchairs are a prime example of Scandinavian Modern design ideology. Clear in its appearance, use of neutral materials, and refined woodwork characterize this chair. The warm tone of the teak complements the green-blue fabric exquisitely, creating a natural and harmonious aesthetic. Due to the ergonomic quality of the seat, excellent seating comfort is guaranteed, while still retaining its elegant and sophisticated appearance. Please note that these items are in good, used condition. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
