The "Papa Bear" chair and "Baby Bear" chairs are perhaps the most comfortable chairs ever created. The Papa cradles you in its ample seating area surrounded by large arms. Very useful as the arms are raised from the seating area which allows the sitter to move freely , with legs under, to talk to guests, play with pets, or read in comfort. Professionally reupholstered and restored with the best Hallingdal wool upholstery and with spot on Danish colours for the seat cushions.

Our shop selected this beautiful ivory bouclé to add some texture, warmth and curiosity to the sloping lines. Although there are rare armchairs dating back as far as the 17th century, some believe that the origins of the first official “lounge chair” are tied to Hungarian modernist designer-architect Marcel Breuer. Sure, Breuer wasn’t exactly reinventing the wheel when he introduced the Wassily lounge chair in 1925, but his seat was indeed revolutionary for its integration of bent tubular steel.
