Marco Zanuso for Arflex, lounge chair model 'Regent', fabric, metal, wood, Italy, 1960 Admirable ‘Regent’ lounge chair designed by Marco Zanuso in 1960. Characteristic for this model are the outwards pointing armrests and the dynamic lines of the seat. Backrest, armrests and seat are currently upholstered in a patterned fabric featuring abstract and figurative forms in shades of white and orange to brown. Marco Zanuso placed the seat on four short legs with pointy feet, which add a playful element to the design.
