About the Item

Swedish Mid-Century Modern 'Paradiset' Sofa by Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist, Sheepskin Chic minimalist sofa by famed Swedish designer referred to as 'Paradiset' or Paradise - for obvious reasons, of course! Later neutral grey sheepskin decorates the organic form upper which sits on four curved modernist wooden legs. Designed by Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist for Swedish manufacturer, Triva, Nordiska Kompaniet, formerly known as ARTFUL DODGER INC Original manufacturer/designer plaque or label still intact on the underside of the sofa. Sheepskin, Birch Sweden, 1950s Other Scandinavian designers of the period include Finn Juhl, Kaare Klint, Borge Mogensen, Poul Kjærholm, Hans Wegner, Arne Vodder, Verner Panton, Kai Kristiansen, Arne Jacobsen. Seat height: 16 in. Zgxx.
