"Leeon" Three-Seat Velvet Covered Sofa Designed by L. and R. Palomba for Driade

"Fenix" is a three-seat sofa, designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba and manufactured by Driade, with a wooden and steel structure, supported by anthracite painted steel legs, polyurethane foam padding and cushions with polyurethane foams and goose feather padding. Fixed structure leather cover and removable cushions in fabric or leather. Indoor use only. Ludovica and Roberto Palomba deal with it emphasizing the sense of suspension from the floor, thanks to a thin metal structure, and modelling a great peninsula, provided with a gracefully asymmetric shape, in the version with terminals. "Leeon" is an elegant daybed, designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba and manufactured by Driade, featuring a back in flexible cold-cured polyurethane foam working with metal inserts, seat with elastic straps and structure in painted steel and wood, padding in polyurethane foam and painted aluminum legs in black or white colors. Available in a sampler of fabric or leather fixed covers. Indoor use only. DIMENSIONS: D. 68.1", W. 35.4", H. 31.8", Seat H. 16.1" Ludovica and Roberto Palomba propose a collection of upholstered pieces of design recalling some distinctive features of aesthetics coming from the late 80s, such as the die-cast aluminum pointy supports (elegantly painted in this case) and the checkerboard motif of the upholstery. The result is a refined project, complete with different pieces of design such as sofa, daybed, bench and bed, and meant to be used both in private and public spaces. Rever is the product of the Driade collection designed for young people by Ludovica +Roberto Palomba. The sofa is made in a wooden frame with elastic belting and padding in polyurethane foams with different densities with a removable cover in fabric or fixed in leather. Rever features plump, generous curves and proportions. The original way the armrests are fitted a fundamental feature of this sofa – is paired with special attention to detail: the slightly padded edge looks as if it comes from a fashion house because it is inspired by the lapel of jackets and the flap of pockets. It is perceived as a shape which, thanks to the softly rounded forms of the padding, can be put together to create dynamic and extremely comfortable modular arrangements.
