Set of 4 Pierre Jeanneret Stools from Chandigarh Authentic Mid-Century Modern

About the Item

Set of 4 beautiful Pierre Jeanneret stools in the most elegant combination of teak wood with black cushions. The simplicity of the design, yet robust and functional has inspired many versions all over the world, but these original pieces still maintain their unmatched character and patina that distinguishes them from the rest, making them highly desired by experienced collectors and novice buyers alike. Very good condition. Wood surfaces have been cleaned and refinished, preserving older wear in keeping with other examples. Caning on each example has also been updated. Overall, a nice set.
