Angelo Mangiarotti Cabinet in Wood and Aluminium

About the Item

Angelo Mangiarotti for Poltronova, cabinet/bookcase from the multiuse series, wood, aluminum, Italy, 1960s. Beautiful bookcase or sideboard of the multiuse series that Mangiarotti designed for Poltronova. The line stands for versatile pieces of furniture that are adjustable as desired by the user. This cabinet features a composition solely build up from horizontal and vertical lines, that creates an almost Japanese aesthetics. The piece consists of four aluminum shelves that have a floating appearance. Six wooden sliding doors are located between the shelves. These can be moved to any side, creating a wonderful play of composition. The sliding doors are made of exotic wood, which is a striking combination with the light aluminum. An exquisite piece of furniture that is both aesthetically and in use noteworthy.   Kindly take note that the item is in good, used condition with signs of age and use. An imperfection in the veneer of one door is present. Restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
