About the Item

An English pair of petite, painted-wood, four-drawer chests from the mid 20th century. These vintage chests from England each have rectangular-shaped tops with rounded front corners, atop the case which houses four graduated drawers, and are raised upon four bun style feet. The two-panel front drawers are each fitted with a pair of metal ring pulls with flower head backplates, and an escutcheon key-hole within their center. The color palette is warm taupe/wheat with are darker taupe accent trim. This mid-century pair of English chests are a great smaller size (approximately 2.5 feet in width), allowing them to work beautifully as a pair of nightstands or side chests flanking a sofa.
