19th Century Biedermeier Style Cuba-Mahogany Secretary

About the Item

Classicist secretary, circa 1800-1810. Cuba mahogany on solid softwood partly ebonized. High-right, architecturally designed body on conical legs. In the front three drawers. Straight writing board, behind it architectural interior life with secret pockets. Restored tower of two glazed wing doors flanked by marble columns with gilt capitals and bases. Profiled cornice.
