About the Item
For Restoration: A handsome Antique Chest with pull-out desk having drawers with original brass knobs oval brass drawer pulls and cubbies. The case with highly figured Mahogany with bold oval brass pulls and the top desk drawer with contrasting oval inlay and thin banding. Serpentine apron with curved front foot.
Dimensions: 39 1/2" H x 43" W x 20 1/2" D
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are various signs of age including a missing veneer section on the front right side facing apron, some finish losses, nicks and chips to the frame and some lighter aging and scratches to the top. The Chest would benefit greatly from some restoration and polishing however it retains a dignified and refined presentation.
