In the ‘Handbook of the Jones Collection’ published the following year, it is illustrated and described as ‘Marquetrie cabinet with Sèvres plaques inlaid No. 1046’. Literature: Handbook of the Jones Collection in the South Kensington Museum: With Portrait and Woodcuts, Published for the Committee of Council on Education by Chapman and Hall, London, 1883, No. 1046.
