We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely Victorian flamed mahogany library bookcase with built in secrataire desk and chest of drawers
A good looking and multifunctional piece of furniture, to the top you have a medium sized bookcase, to the base three generous sized drawers, the fourth drawer is actually a drop front writing desk with the original distressed brown leather writing surface
This really is a charming, well thought out and useful piece of furniture, the flamed mahogany timber looks good enough to eat in the right light
In terms of the condition there are normal patina marks all over, it is around 160 years old from new, there are some small losses to the timber and so on, nothing you wouldn’t expect from a period piece. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom
