About the Item
Tall sideboard, designed by Severin Hansen in Denmark in the 1960s. The piece opens with two sliding doors and four drawers at the bottom. The two sliding doors reveal two large compartments with height-adjustable shelves and three trays. The shelves on the right are wide, while those on the left are narrower, as can be seen in the photos with the doors open. At the top left are three small trays with black felt backing, ideal for storing small, flat and delicate items such as jewellery, watches, tablets or smartphones, but also cutlery if the cabinet is placed in a dining room. The drawers at the bottom are of different heights, with two small ones in the centre and two taller ones on each side. They are made of light wood on the inside. This piece of furniture will fit into many rooms in the house and can be used to store a whole host of items. In any case, it will allow you to hide what's inside. Beautifully crafted and in perfect condition, this piece of furniture has no scratches, dents, scuffs or moisture marks. The top is also in perfect condition and can be used to display vases, lamps, sculptures or photos for a pretty decoration.
Note the very elegant finishes, the quality of the materials and the dovetail joints on the drawers. Note the elegant detail of the base assembly with its bevelled angle, which is particularly typical of Severin Hansen's work. Please do not hesitate to ask for photos or further information.
