This stunning gilt bronze pedestal table featuring a refined hand-painted porcelain top is an exquisite example of 19th-century decorative arts. The central component of the porcelain table top showcases detailed portraits of elegantly dressed women surrounded by a flowing gold border against a striking blue background. Hand painted panels surround featuring a central female figure flanked by soft pastel floral motifs with gold detailing. The tabletop is encircled by a meticulous bronze edge featuring borders of acanthus leaves and delicate gadrooning, adding depth and texture. The base features a hand-caste mature grapevine with twisting branches sprouting finely detailed leaves and grape bunches all rooted in a sturdy rendering of the forest or vineyard floor, adorned with leaves and flowers and supported by unique feet in the form of sea turtles.
