Italian Louis XVI Period Tulipwood and Kingwood Two Drawers Folding Table
Located in Firenze, IT
This beautiful high quality Italian 18th century antique original Louis XVI period fold over game table is made of precious woods. Tulip wood, King wood and mahogany alternate in the inlays to create elegant geometric effects throughout. The folding table's top veneered with valuable woods has a triangular shape when closed and shows two front drawers with round bronze handles on the simple rectangular apron. This Florentine play card table of the highest quality rests on four squared tapered legs with ball feet finals. The central front leg extends to support the top when folds outwards. The tabletop opens into a sumptuous surface with king wood and tulip wood veneer, this makes it extremely rare and valuable, usually the table tops are covered with a cloth and not finished in wood as the outside. The table has a squared shape top when it opens to become a precious centre card playing table...

Louise Card Table Metal Clad Over Teakwood Handcrafted in India by Paul Mathieu
Located in New York, NY
The renowned designer Paul Mathieu chose the name “Louise” when he created his more feminine version of Louis XV (1730-1760) furniture. The characteristic cabriole leg, curving outward at the knee and inward towards the foot in an "S" shape was born during this period. It is during the same era that English furniture makers produced the Queen Anne and Chippendale style. The curved legs and side rails of this exceptionally elegant table are hand carved from solid pieces of teak. Pattern-makers trace and cut complex forms that will cover the table from thick sheets of copper or silver. Once the table is joined together, it is meticulously encased in a tight-fitting skin of copper or purest silver. The silver used was assayed at 96% purity, which exceeds the minimum standard for sterling of 92.5%. White Bronze, Antiqued Bronze, Brass, Silver and Copper available options of th metal skin. Both silver and copper will tarnish over time. Regular non-abrasive household metal polishes can be used to restore the original finish. Louise Card Table...

Sereno Table Gold Color by Driade
Located in Beverly Hills, CA
In Sereno Fredrikson Stallard create a moment of calm and solitude. The forms themselves are created from shards of glass violently created by the artists, but they become unified in utter stillness by the inclusion of a simple flat sheet and the transformation of the group into polished stainless steel. This brings a reflection of the three unified elements in the surface, creating another of fredrikson stallard’s recurring themes, rorschach like symmetrical forms. This even further delivers their nature from turmoil to serenity - they resolve themselves through the reorganization of symmetry. Sculpture legs in cast aluminum with metallic finish made by Sputtering technology in gold color...
