About the Item

A one-of-a-kind studio crafted, large room divider or console by woodworker and Professor Emeritus at Maine College of Art, Gary Ambrose. This piece was crafted in 1984 and is constructed of solid Claro walnut. It features highly sculpted legs, live edge shelves, beautifully incorporated resin (the earliest use we've seen in a studio piece), and exposed dowels. It is a work of art from every angle. This substantial piece would be perfect as a a room divider, as a large console in a foyer, or on the back of a worthy sofa. It has been lovingly restored and it in gorgeous vintage condition.
