Italian Nesting Tables Model 777 by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Cassina, Italy 60s

About the Item

Set of two Model 777 extractable coffee tables, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Cassina in 1965. Made of walnut. They are two coffee tables of different sizes, each designed to nest within the other. The tables feature two solid wood trestles embedded in the top, allowing them to slide into one another in two different configurations. This design includes the double trestle structure that Afra and Tobia Scarpa utilized in various pieces, including the Model 121 chair, the Model 925 lounge chair, the Model 778 dining table, and the Model 771 side table. Afra and Tobia Scarpa created these coffee tables to complement the Model 920 modular sofa and the Model 771 side table. Dimensions: Big Table: 61,5w x 50,5d x 44h cm (24.2w x 19.9d x 17.3h in.)
