About the Item

This French pedestal or gueridon table was handcrafted from gorgeous fruitwood circa 1850, reflecting Biedermeier creativity and the restraint of Louis Philippe style to fit with a range of interior design tastes today. Straightforward in construction and wearing fantastic patina, the relatively simple disc for the top surfaces rises from a thick, turned baluster leg branching into tripodal feet, giving it the stability of a pedestal while still appearing light on its toes. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look at this wonderful occasional table.
