About the Item
Elegant Hepplewhite style side table. Solid mahogany with satinwood inlay,
early middle 20th century dated in pencil to underside 2-1-41. Beautiful fine lines with a refined inlay detail. Take note of the inlaid satinwood center line to the side edges of the top, double line banding to the aprons with the top line being thinner and the bottom wider. Shaped inlay following the tapered legs with special five band skirts to the feet. In very good condition. The top has been lightly French polished. A beautiful addition to any room. Great size and quality. American, dated Febuarauy 2 1941, no makers mark, collected in Virginia.
