About the Item
A vintage pair of very well made Chinese side tables with mother of pearl inlay. These are a matching pair of good quality with perfect symmetry, unlike some of the cheaper examples, these have 8 equal segments and have excellent form and scale. In a lovely rich dark rosewood with contrasting mother of pearl inlay, the tables have a drum shape with flat circular 11.5" (29cm) top that curve into a barrel type shape with oblong window segments leading to eight equally spaced feet.
A decorative pair that are versatile and could be used as side tables or plant stands, being a matching pair they could also work well either side of a doorway or opening to create symmetry.
Note: Because of Rosewood material, these are not available for export due to CITES declaration.
In very good original condition, some age related wear marks as seen in the photos. Clean and ready for installation.
