Maritime oil painting of ships at sea in rough weather. Strong, thick brushstrokes and earthy colours are used in this expressionist painting by Danish artist Egon Banke (1929-1992) with both figurative and abstract elements.
The painting is from 1976 and is signed at the front and on the back. The title is: “Kuttere” (Cutters).
It is in great vintage condition with few signs of age, mostly on the frame. Please see all the photos.
