Dated 1859 pair of watercolors "East" & "West" by Edward Booty, English. Edward Booty (England, Brighton, 1812-1879), member: Royal Academy and Royal Society of British Artists. Each signed & dated lower right E. Booty, 1859. The arches define each, as do the people & activities - a Middle Eastern city scene & a Dutch city scene. By sight each: 21.5" x 15.25".
Framed each: 26.75" x 20.75".
