About the Item

A large color field watercolor in the manner of Helen Frankenthaler’s soak-stain style technique. Dramatic bold splashes of color and veining. Circa 1970-80. The artist was clearly influenced by this 20th Century master. Unframed work on paper. Unsigned. The paper measures approximately 36.25” wide x 52” high. Good overall condition with some wear to the edges. Pin holes in each corner. A small loss to the edge. Soft corners and edges. Some color bleed on the reverse of painting. Duct or Gaffer tape residue due to it being mounted and framed by previous owner. Adhesive residue does not show up on the front of the work of art. Carefully rolled for shipping.
