About the Item
Fabulous landscape abstract by Martin Friedman. He has shown at the Whitney and other NYC Galleries. Dramatic use of deep blues indicative of the time period. Well balanced , very engaging painting on canvas with a beautiful giltwood 2" frame. Painting was recently cleaned. Signed lower right corner. Painting out of frame is 23.5 x 11.5. This painting was showing at the Babcock Driscoll Gallery the oldest gallery in NYC during the fifties.
