Original oil on canvas. In a rustic barnwood style frame with gold name plaque. Stunning painting with warm yellow tones done in an impressionism style. Painting portrays a group of Native American Indians on horseback, riding away from a shack or cabin. Finaly detailed and done in Myrah's signature style. Size: 24" x 36" Frame 48" x 35"
Newman Myrah (1921-2010). was born in Canada and raised in Deer Lodge, MT. He worked for several years as a commercial illustrator and art director. For the past 30 years he has painted the West, cowboys and Indians as well.
