About the Item

A wonderful evocative painting of workers by the noted New York Artist Niberg Abbey (1920-1990). Likely painted in the 1940’s. The painting is in its original frame which the artist painted to match the colors of the painting. We have left the frame in its untouched condition as it beautifully suite the painting. The painting is signed upper right corner. The frame has quite a bit of paint and wood loss. The painting is in good stable condition although it has craquelure and some spots of missing paint.
