Pair of 19th Century School, Oil on Canvas, Conversation Pieces

About the Item

A pair of domestic conversation pieces, one showing a girl teasing kitten with her mother's skein of silk, the other a mother dressing daughter for fancy dress party. Both oils on canvas laid down on board, unsigned, contemporary gilt gallery frames. Each picture 24 cm x 27 cm, each frame 42 cm x 46 cm.
