About the Item

Giacomo Francesco Cipper, known as il Todeschini (Feldkirch, July 15, 1664 - Milan, October 17, 1736) was an Austrian painter, active in Italy in the first half of the 18th century. The proposed painting, is typical of his production and features high quality pieces. One only has to look at the details of the faces and robes to grasp the sincere realistic intent of the painter, certainly discontinuous in his production but never lacking in his observational spirit.
