About the Item
This is a beautiful, original framed, landscape painting entitled "Wyoming" by Robert Aaron Frame. The colors are rich, vibrant and bold. Set in a wooden frame with a painted gold detail, the canvas measures 9" high x 14" wide. The small size of the piece allows for its presentation in numerous places.
Robert Aaron Frame was an important and well known mid-century California artist known for landscape and abstract still life paintings. Graduating from the Claremont Colleges in 1951, he collaborated with an increasingly prestigious community of artists that flocked to the Claremont at the time. He has won many awards including the Guggenheim Fellowship for Creative Arts, US & Canada. The piece is signed on the front and back and would be an incredible addition to a collector of mid-century Californian art.
