And just like birds of a feather… these gorgeous fine art serigraphs are best together!! We have a phenomenal pair of limited-edition Dallas E. John parrot serigraphs to offer to you. Military Macaws is #144 of 200 and Imperial Mates is #195 of 225. They have been professionally matted and framed in gorgeous black wood frames by Artworks on March 15th, 2000, in Wichita, Kansas. They are both hand signed limited edition fine art serigraphs by Dallas E. John. He is well known for his intricate detail, rich color, and fabulous textures, and these two parrot themed serigraphs are perfect examples of his impeccable talents. The depth and detail in their stunning facial expressions, grasping agile toes, and bright colorful feathers almost give the parrots a three-dimensional appearance. You’re just waiting to hear their loud squawking, feathers flapping, and distant sounds of the rain and winds in the rainforest. They are strong, illustrious, and breathtaking in their presence. This pair of serigraphs is full of so much character and color, they are sure to be fabulous in any room you choose and will blend in beautifully with any décor style. Whether you love nature, parrots, or just beautiful images of a tropical paradise… these phenomenal serigraphs are exactly what you’ve been looking for.
Dallas E. John was born on June 29, 1945, in Illinois. He began his artistic involvement while in Berkley by illustrating his own research reports and newspaper articles about planning. He spent time traveling through South & Central America and upon his return to the United States he started a graphic design art profession. In his spare time, he would create original artwork which included silk screen. He is well known today for his rich colors and textured works.

Robert Bushong Silkscreen Wall Scroll Chanticleer for Tom Tru Raymor MCM
Located in Topeka, KS
Wonderful Mid-Century Modern silkscreen wall scroll titled Chanticleer by Robert R. Bushong for Tom Tru and distributed by Raymor. It is in fantastic vintage condition and circa 1959.
I’ve recently become attracted to roosters and chickens in general, and these regal characters are really great! This wall-hanging is depicted in the Tom Tru Spring wall scroll catalog for 1959. Attributed to Robert R. Bushong, although the signature on this one is missing the G. Since the signature is so close to the edge we believe the G just did not make it into the screen printing process. This example is what was advertised in the catalog as: powder, royal, sage, brown on black texture. Otherwise known as powder blue, royal blue, sage green, and brown. Its solid walnut top and bottom mouldings are just beautiful as are these fantastic chanticleer, the name for roosters especially in fairy tales. Robert Bushong...

Wow! We are proud to be able to offer this gorgeous pair of winter landscapes by Dorothy Kordash. The one on the left in our photograph is titled Designs of Winter and depicts a lovely snowy landscape with bare trees and snow-covered grasses in beautiful translucent steel blues and grays and white. It is signed, matted and framed. The watercolor on the right is titled Treescape and depicts an icy blue winter wonderland of bare trees, evergreens, and grasses. These came from a home filled with incredible mid-century modern furnishings and art. They collected many Kansas and Arizona artists work including these by Dorothy Kordash.
Dorothy M. Reece Kordash was born in 1927 in Prairie Village, Kansas. She continued to live, and work in the Kansas City area. However, after retiring, she spent quite a bit of time in Scottsdale, Arizona where she passed in 2010. Her works are in private collections all over the United States. Her obituary states she was one of America’s top cutting-edge artists in the field of contemporary conceptual art and painted in a wide variety of media. She was a member of many organizations including the Kansas Watercolor Society and International Society of Experimental Artists to name just two. She was part of many, many art exhibits nationwide and attended workshops in Canada and Great Brittan.
