About the Item
An officially licensed Fantastic Four Wedding Marvel Heroes lithograph on fine art paper by ALEX ROSS. It is his Alex's amazing version of this wedding first appeared in the acclaimed MARVELS series. This is the official release from DYNAMIC FORCES, dates from 2001.
Signed by Alex Ross and numbered.
This limited edition fine art print was executed by Alex Ross. Mr. Ross is an award-winning DC Comics artist. To quote DC Comics Certificate of Authenticity, "Legends come from vastly different sources. Some are born of a city's mean streets, while others arrive from faraway places. One populates the oceans, as another descends from deity established upon a hidden island. The graphic Novel, "JLA: Secret Origins' reveals the entire stable of superheroes critical within DC Comics. Interestingly, as written by Alex Ross and Paul Dini, each character has their own derivation, they also have their own virtue to employ in a quest to protect mankind. In the main thrust of their meaning, whether from space or the sea, Medieval Times or the world of magic, they retain the same ideal of truth and justice paramount to any superhero's existence. As 'JLA: Secret Origins" shows, traits of these eleven heroes can never be taken for granted as with all of them, these traits arrive not from divine intervention, but are instead learned, fought for and earned."
This piece is hand-signed in graphite by Alex Ross.
A true lithograph has a much higher price tag than a giclee print. The signatures are there as well.
The lithograph shows a more "real" signature and is hand numbered, while, a print does show a signature and maybe a number, giclee prints are mechanical made.
