The brooch has an oval form ornamented with a central quatrefoil design claw / prong set with five Old European round cut diamonds. This central design is further embellished with four applied scrolling motifs displayed in relief. This impressive brooch has an applied rope twist and bead decorated border accented with four floral motifs. The Victorian brooch / locket is fitted to the reverse with a removable oval glass panel, behind which a personal photograph may be displayed.
