Rich 18kt gold gives a warm glow to this piece with the rich golden leaves scrolling outward, intercepting the fine gold cannetille work and the lovely vibrant Amethyst stones.
The stones are foil backed and set into an array surrounding the main centre stone, the large oval centre stone has light warm hues from the foil backing.
It has an old C type clasp and pin fastener this is a replacement of the original buy stil in keeping with style, later 19th century.
