About the Item
Rare Antique Adam and Eve Pendant: A captivating piece of history, this antique pendant features an enamel depiction of Adam and Eve, masterfully crafted in 14k gold. Dating to the early Victorian era (circa 1840), the pendant was originally an antique stickpin that our jeweler carefully transformed into a pendant.
The pendant measures 1.2 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 0.9 inches wide and weighs 4.32 grams. It is in great condition with one small crack to the enamel on the upper left side of the pendant. Also, the enamel on the reverse of the piece is crazed.
The metal content of this pendant was verified via XRF and with jeweler's acids.
