About the Item

A Victorian turquoise and gold locket pendant, the heart-shaped gold locket with finely scroll engraved background, applied with a turquoise-set grape textured gold vine leaves and a hinged half-loop, in the back with a rock crystal locket compartment, circa 1850, measuring 3x4.7 cm, 1840, gross weight 13.5 grams. This pendant is in very good condition with signs of wear consistent with its age. Unmarked, tested as 15ct gold. This exquisite Victorian turquoise and gold locket pendant is part of the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the distinguished London jewellers by royal appointment to His Majesty the King. Crafted with exquisite attention to detail, this heart-shaped lock exudes a romantic allure. Intricate scrolls adorn its surface, complemented by turquoise-set grape vine leaves, evoking a sense of natural beauty. Concealed within is a locket compartment fashioned from shimmering rock crystal. Dating back to 1850, this stunning piece epitomizes timeless elegance and charm.
