About the Item
Large 800 silver box with malachite stone accent and gold wash interior by Borghetti Ugo Fabrica Argenteria of Italy.
No monogram or engraving
A large and beautifully ornate hinged footed rectangular box featuring a large green malachite stone bezel set at the center of a domed lid and a bright gold wash interior. Engraved scroll designs all around the body and the lid. Italian marks indicate it was made by Borghetti Ugo Fabrica Argenteria, circa 1940s.
Measures approx 3" high, 7 1/4" long, 4 5/8" wide, opening measures approx 6 3/8" x 3 3/4"
Weighs approx 708g, 455dwt total
Marked crown BU 317 MI (twice) 800 in oval
Very nice condition with some slight surface scratching and light tarnish.
Will be packaged securely and shipped US Priority Mail with insurance.
