About the Item
A wide pear shaped 19 mm faceted watermelon tourmaline with bands of pink and purple and some occasional hints of green is set within a signature "V-bezel with jawan" handmade fabricated setting with triangular granulated motifs decorating the base of the bezel and also on the shank. Matte-finish throughout this masterpiece of the goldsmiths art. This ring is currently sized 8. It is resizable.

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
