Steven Battelle 23.5 Carats Watermelon Tourmaline Diamonds 22K Gold Ring
About the Item
An octagonal faceted 14 x 20 mm high grade Brazilian watermelon tourmaline ranging from a deep green to a particularly vibrant shade of red is set in a handmade 22K gold "V-bezel with jawan" signature Steven Battelle setting with two 2.2 mm VS1 diamonds as accents on the shank. Handset granulation is individually arranged in triangular geometries in this masterpiece of the goldsmiths art. This is a substantial piece, one of the finest we've ever made. It is currently sized 7.5. It is resizable within a few sizes. Only the best!

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
