This is a chair fit for a KING… or a QUEEN!!! This is an absolutely fabulous chair… some call it a Savonarola or Curule chair, it may also be known as a Renaissance or Dante style chair. All correct, and all very similar in style with slightly different features. It is palatial in structure with a wide U-shaped seat and frame with curved legs which create an X style base. It is comprised of gorgeous dark stained wood with horizontal turned spindles under the arms and turned stretchers on the base. The seat and back is upholstered in a fantastic gold striped velvety chenille fabric with hammered steel nail head details, and it has a carved flower motif in the center under the seat. It is sturdy, richly carved, and has a spacious, splendid design! It is Spanish Revival in style with a bit of Medieval or Renaissance Revival flair and it is sure to be an eye-catching piece in any room of your home. It would be wonderful in a corner of your bedroom, in the study across from the fireplace, or as an accent chair in the living room. And if you are unfamiliar or new to its glorious existence, you are certainly in for a tableware TREAT!!! This is a phenomenal collection including FIFTY-SIX various hand painted Rose Medallion pieces and 5 lids equaling 61 pieces total! This style of Chinese porcelain was first made in the mid-1800s to satisfy the export demand from Europe and later the United States. These pieces vary in age as early as several Antique 1850’s pieces expanding into some 1970’s vintage pieces. Wonderful vintage Tropitone outdoor chairs with vinyl straps & cushions, set of 6. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The chair frames and cushions have been pressure washed and professionally cleaned. We have touched up some places on the frames with Krylon ivory gloss and we have ordered new feet for the chairs. The cushions still have some stubborn stains after cleaning and two of the cushions are a slightly different color of white from the rest. Please see photos and zoom in for details. This is a lovely set of six mid-century modern outdoor dining chairs by Tropitone comprised of fabulous weather resistant ivory painted aluminum frames and uv-resistant vinyl back and seat straps. They have their original loose seat cushions featuring blue and white striped weather resistant fabric covers. Two of the chairs are a little more ivory than white, it’s the way we obtained them, And they’re FABULOUS!! We believe that these are an older “vintage” version of the current Khana chair by Tropitone because these have straight backs not curved; tubular arms slightly flared outward not straight; as well as slightly curved legs. Tropitone was founded in Sarasota, Florida in 1954 by Burt M. Baker, a retired Lockhead Engineer and executive at Grand Rapids Chair Company. Tropitone served the contract market, including hotels, motels, clubs, and resorts with high performing outdoor patio furniture. In the 1960’s they introduced powder coated aluminum finishes to the industry. Utilizing a multi-step wash process that ensures a lasting finish, Tropitone’s aluminum frames prevail under any environmental conditions. Tropitone also pioneered the technique of double-wrapping vinyl straps around the powder coated aluminum frame for extra durability, which continues today. In 1970’s they established operations in Irvine, California which provided a bi-coastal manufacturing to North American customers. In the 80’s they released “Comfort is Key” cushions and sling seating. Tropitone sling seating has the perfect combination of clean lines, designer fabrics and carefree maintenance. In the 90’s EZ Span and Basta Sole Umbrellas were introduced and in the 2000’s woven furniture and Relax Plus cushion seating was created including replications of rattan or wicker outdoor furniture. Tropitone continued to launch new systems for their furniture from 2000 through 2014 when they celebrated their 60 years in business when they joined forces with Brown Jordan International.

This is a spectacular solid maple twin sized headboard and footboard bearing a beautiful rectangular shape with lovely, hand-carved, or hand-sculpted rounded edges. We will include metal siderails upon purchase. This is a classic beauty with an Art Moderne style that you are sure to love for years to come. It is designed in a style after Russel Wright for Conant Ball or Bissman. My mother (who is a retired interior designer and has been identifying vintage pieces since before I was born… and I am vintage myself!!) believes the actual style is a copy after Russel Wright but the construction leads her to believe it’s Bissman. It is not marked, but no matter, it is INCREDIBLE!! The design world calls these transition pieces… of the era when pieces transitioned between the Art Deco period and the Mid-Century Modern period, during the early portion of the 20th century. Ahhhhh, the good ‘ol days!! LOVE IT!!! The maple bears a beautiful natural shade and it features clean lines, a timeless presence, and simple design sure to blend in beautifully with any décor. We think it would be fabulous utilized in a children’s bedroom but it would also be wonderful in a college dorm, guest room, or an industrial loft apartment! They see me Rollin’….. they LOVIN’ this awesome cart!!!!! Talk about VERSATILE!!! This is an incredible vintage Rustic deliberately distressed wood bookshelf, console table, cart, sofa table, or rolling bar with a lovely inset 12” x 12” vanilla colored ceramic top with convenient and quite FABULOUS new casters with clear polyurethane wheels and black metal brackets! We added the casters thinking they would add character and convenience, and not to “toot our own horn” but… TOOT!!! When you’re right, you’re right!! They are STELLAR!!! The back (or front depending how you use it) bears three vertical stabilizing beams nailed to the horizontal wood slat frame and the top is slightly elevated upon the sides giving the countertop a floating effect. It is SO COOL and I mean seriously… it does EVERYTHING!!! It’s finished all around so it will float beautifully in any room. Use the back as the front and you have a marvelous rolling bar and ample storage space under the inset ceramic top for beverages, glasses, cups, barware, or dishes of your choice. Use it in the dining room, kitchen, or roll it out to the Lanai and serve your guests beverages with eye-catching ease! Turn it around and use the other side filling it with your favorite magazines and book collection and call it a library or bookshelf or load it with your DVD player...

Oh yeah… it’s hip to be square!! And in this case, that is definitely true!! This is an awesome series of four-square dimensional mixed metal wall sculptures by C. Jere displaying various unique and abstract geometric designs comprised of steel, brass, and copper arranged in the center of each metal square. C. Jere (a.k.a.) Curtis Jere is not a single artist but is a nom-de-plume for a group of artists working for Artisan House and well known for their phenomenal jewelry, metal sculptures, and collectibles. This series of four is a MUST have for any wall that needs a bold statement piece, touch of Modern style, or simply an intriguing, phenomenal piece of artwork! Position them to your preference and change any wall from being bland, to BOOM! They would be wonderful side by side in a row of four however, I envision them stacked one on top of the other in a large square. Maybe over a fireplace, on a wall in a tall entry way, or on a primary wall in your living room. Magnificent Art Deco Revival white milk glass & aluminum monumental cylinder pendant lights by Visa Lighting hardwired & comprised of a milk glass cylinder shade, spun aluminum base, top rim (or flange), canopy, & cone shape finial, metal dowl rod, 6 socket lamp holder with 6 bulbs, 1 down facing light, & metal hanging chain. And these white milk glass & aluminum monumental cylinder pendant lights by Visa are nothing short of that… Totally EXTRAORDINARY!!! And let me tell you… SIZE MATTERS FOLKS!!! And the glass body ALONE on one is 30 inches tall… 35.25 inches rim to rim… 43 inches to the top of the cone and it’s 14 inches in diameter!! HOLY MOLY!!! They are LARGE and in CHARGE!!! We have 4 of these fabulous, hardwired pendant lights that we are selling separately. They are comprised of an incredible milk glass cylinder shade, a marvelous spun aluminum base, top rim (or flange), and a wonderful cone shaped finial. Inside the cylinder is a metal dowl rod with a lamp holder featuring 6 sockets with bulbs… 3 facing up and 3 facing down. And if you follow that rod down even lower, there is yet another single down facing light. So, this means you have TWO lighting options… You can have ALL the lights on OR you can switch off the down facing light. Isn’t it NICE to have options?? And all this MAGNIFICENCE hangs from a fabulous spun aluminum canopy and handsome metal hanging chain. Fun Fact!!! Visa Lighting has a cool little video on U-Tube discussing their products and history and these EXACT light fixtures make a quick appearance in the video photographed with a red background behind the lights, you should check it out!! They’re kind of FAMOUS!! We can just see a series of three or all four hanging over your dining table, kitchen island, or indoor bar. And though they are Art Deco Revival in style, they will also blend in beautifully with your Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century Modern, Modern, and other décor styles.
