With clear inspiration from natural botanicals and oceanic life, artist Jenny Brown combines found imagery and her own mark making to create delicate yet bold designs. Artist Commentary:
Stardust Cephalopod is a bioluminescent flowering squid, existing both in the depths of the sea and the far reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy. She melds together the sciences of the oceans and the stars, linking the two natural spaces as one beautiful entity. Stardust Cephalopod is a mixed media work created with pen, ink, & collage.

Evening Moon Fruit is a burst of color in the night sky, perhaps the light of another galaxy or interstellar nebula? Existing between constellations and planets, lush with roses and pink apples, this work is inspired by our dreamscapes and fascination with science fiction. Original is comprised of pen, ink, acrylic paint, & antique collage clippings.
