We were tasked by a young couple to elevate their newly purchased duplex into a home that was conducive to their remote-work lifestyle and love for hosting. We installed new light fixtures throughout, paint, wallpaper, new wall-to-wall carpeting, tile and hardware. We sourced all new furniture, rugs and decor throughout, including lesser expensive, ready-made furniture, and a couple of antique and custom pieces as well for a high-low mix (including the Antique Japanese folding screen over the living room sofa, sourced from 1stDibs). The overall composition is rounded out by a layering effect of art and accessories, some of which were collected by the clients in their travels, others, which we sourced over the course of the project.
