This is a gouache and ink painting by Alexander Calder. It is signed and dated “Calder 72” at the lower right corner. It was painted in 1972. The paper bears the Les Papiers Canson Lavis B blindstamp in the upper right corner. Provenance: Perls Gallery, New York. Magnum Fine Arts, South Africa Private Collection, South Africa, 1974 Private collection, Johannesbourg, late 1970's Private collection, South Africa This work is registered in the archives of the Calder Foundation, New York, under application No. A00098, October 2024.
