About the Item
The famed Loire Valley west of Paris, France is where dreams are reality. Drive past Rambouillet towards the Chateau d'Artigny and luxuriate in the many chateaus set upon manicured and rustic grounds alike. Master artist Jim Rodgers depiction, like many chateaus, is surrounded by a once protective mote with it's glorious reflection accentuated by a multitude of brush strokes which recreate the water's gentle motion. Rodgers use of jewel tones further enrich the authenticity of the composition. Jim Rodgers has been painting for more than 30 years having studied at both the highly respected Art Students League of NYC as well as the Ridgewood Art Institute of New Jersey. His work has been acknowledged by numerous publications including "American Art Collector." His work is represented in the collections of Pfizer Corporation, The Rockefeller Trust and many other noteworthy corporate and private collections. The painting is framed in an antique gold wood frame with distressing throughout. The unframed size is 30x40.
