Coco Sits on Divan, 1957 -- Coco Chanel sits on her massive beige suede divan talking on the phone with a cigarette dangling from her lower lip. She dislikes phoning and gets it over with quickly. All things in keeping with the Chanel legend can be found in this luxurious salon including the pill boxes. "I take one to pep me up, the other to calm me down so I can sleep." Mark Shaw's informal, grainy, black and white images of Coco Chanel were created using an unobtrusive 35mm camera and film processing methods that enabled him to eliminate all other photographic equipment. Although Shaw's techniques increased the grain and contrast of the photographs, the lack of intimidating, distracting flash and lights allowed him to capture an unusually relaxed Chanel. Image size is 22" x 32" (for 24" x 36" paper size). All Mark Shaw prints are made to order in limited editions on Hahnemuhle photo rag paper. Her training and work in psychotherapy has lead her to a deep curiosity in human nature.
While still in the field of psychology, she started to shoot. Over the years she became more and more interested in photographing human emotion and behavior. This interest combined her great appreciation for fashion has lead Lika down the path of fashion photography and portraiture.
Lika’s work are shown across the U.S, Great Britain, France, Italy, Romania. Her photographs have been published in various magazines, many of them belong to private collections.

Dominique Teufen was born in Davos Switzerland in 1975. After following a two years stone sculpting class in Zürich, she moved to Amsterdam and received her BA in Sculpture from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 2002. In the following years she worked and exhibited in Melbourne, Zürich, London and New York. After moving back to Amsterdam, she attained her Master of Fine Art in 2010 at the Academy for Art and Design St. Joost in S’Hertogenbosch the Netherlands. Since 2011 she lives and works in Zürich and Amsterdam.
With Teufen’s education in Sculpture and fine Arts, material-experiments make up an important part of her work. Curious and fascinated by photography, she investigates and engages in differ- ent processes and mechanisms before she takes her photographs. With her specific use of pho- tography, she not only examines the field of tension between two- and three dimensionality, but also explores the area where reality and illusion lose their specific definition and where different possible realities can be visualized.
Teufen has participated in various solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including at the Chris- tophe Guye Galerie, Zürich, Kunsthalle Wil/St. Gallen as well as Kunstraum Aarau. Furthermore, Teufen has been exhibited with Thomas Ruff, Wolfgang Tillmans and Viviane Sassen, among others at NRW Forum in Düsseldorf, at Museum für Fotografie Berlin and Kunsthalle Darmstadt as part of the group exhibition ‘Bauhaus and Photography’. In connection with the HSBC Photogra- phy Award 2019, she was exhibited in the travelling exhibition of the two winners in Paris, Arles, Bordeaux and Metz. She has received numerous awards, including the Vfg. Nachwuchsförderpre- is der Fotografie 2013, the Lensculture Emerging Talent Award 2018 and the HSBC Photography Award 2019.
