This series of black and white photographs captures the raw power and beauty of the ocean and other bodies of water. The images showcase a range of seascapes, from calm and serene to tumultuous and chaotic. Waves are a prominent feature in many of the photographs, with their sharp edges and frothy white caps creating a sense of energy and movement.
Other photographs in the series explore the more subtle aspects of the sea, such as the gentle ripples that form on the surface of the water, or the abstract reflections of sunlight and moonlight over the moving surface of the sea.
The print measures 24 x 36 inches total, with an image size of 20 x 32 in. and a 2 inch surrounding white border.

In the thirties, Karl Heinrich Lämmel produced several photographic reports of cities, including Munich and Cologne. Photographs that have yet to be seen and appreciated. Lämmel's pictures show a different view of Germany. His documentation is an unparalleled and intriguing insight into the working and everyday life of the time. Impressive images of cities and their architecture before the destruction of WWII .

"Hanna Seidel, observing the world through her camera lens, could capture everyday situtations in a unique manner."A touring exhibition containing 100 selected photographs entitled "From Rio Grande to Cape Horn" was organised by the Commerzbank and Lufthansa in 1965 and had its opening in the Cologne branch of the bank, Unter Sachsenhausen. At the time, the press described the works as being of "enchanting beauty and dignity." The exhibition of 1965 was curated by Hanna Seidel. The negative was scanned creating a digital file which was then printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Baryta 315 gsm (Acid-free and lignin-free paper, Museum quality paper for highest age resistance and a popular alternative to analogue baryta paper) using pigment inks which are known for their longevity.

Ian Sanderson (born 1951 Scotland, died 2020 Spain) was a Scottish photographer.
He produced images over a 35 year career, and in recent years used archival techniques to produce his prints.
For most of his career he worked as both a Commercial and Fine Art photographer, and during his last years concentrated on his personal imagery.
Towards the end of his life journey, Ian was reviving with his partner two 19th century printing techniques in their studio, Platinum Palladium and Gum Bichromate ( one-of-a-kind pieces). This culminated in a large retrospective exhibition in Barcelona which was sponsored by the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation.
The Platinum and Palladium prints are particularly interesting as they printed them onto vellum paper therefore transparent and bonded pure gold or silver to the back of the prints ( every print is therefore a unique and timeless piece of art).
They have created rare and personalized pieces with an artisanal technique.
Ian Sanderson was one of only a handful of artists worldwide producing this type of work.
Nowadays, Ian’s partner continues their work, she’s still creating Platinum Palladium prints but also silver gelatin photographs.
