City of Surprises is created from an original photograph taken from Greenwich Park. It features one of my favourite views of the London skyline - boasting some of the city’s most famous landmarks in a single line with one small difference - for legal reasons. The London Eye, Shard, BT Tower, St Paul’s Cathedral, and the Cheesegrater are all there, alongside one building that I’ve been asked not to feature in my work by its lawyers. Can you spot it? I love the shapes of the view’s outline so I have replaced the building that shall not be named with the head of shark. The ‘new’ London skyline is then laser-cut into gold mirror. City of Surprises is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 3 weeks.

Reinhard Görner, with his large format photographs orchestrates the monumentality of rooms.
An active architecture photographer since 1985, is a master of perspectives and precise spatial compositions, and he thus considers classical sculpture, in all of its possible facets, a special challenge.
"Görner’s photographs sometimes open the doors to another world and take the viewer with them on a journey through time. Here the palace is no longer a museum but both royal residence and a site steeped in history. The viewer does not have to share the halls with the masses of visitors; instead the images offer him exclusive impressions of the Galerie des Glaces (Hall of Mirrors) and the Galerie des Batailles (Hall of Battles) as even the king of France was probably never granted. The halls are empty of people, yet they seem to be able to unfurl their individual characters of their own accord. These places practically breathe history, and this aspect is also part of the essence captured in the photographs. King Wilhelm of Prussia was named German Emperor Wilhelm I in the Hall of Mirrors after France was defeated in 1870–1871 in the Franco-German War. Warm toned mosaic style figurative abstract by Texas based artist Richard E. Fluhr. The work features a group of abstract figures broken up into a grid of twelve rectangles set against a black and white checkered background. Artist Biography: Richard E. Fluhr was born in New York City in 1955 and moved to Texas to work as an artist. Beginning with ceramics at age 15 and showing at Ola Podrida Gallery in Dallas, he moved on to the University of Texas at Austin. Fluhr received his BFA from the University of Houston followed by an MFA in printmaking at the prestigious Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where he graduated magna cum laude. He traveled extensively, painting life along the way in watercolor, oil or acrylic, usually on recycled materials, such as paper bags, pamphlets, and receipts. Fluhr exhibited in six galleries in the United States and several galleries in Mexico, where he also maintained a studio in the late 1980s. His art has been shown in the U.S., Russia, and Mexico and is represented in over 900 private and public collections, including the Brooklyn Museum of Art, NY; the Cranbrook Academy of Art Museum, Bloomfield Hills, MI; the Detroit Art...
