A light social satire depicting a society dentist extracting a tooth from the mouth of a distressed young lady in an elegant drawing room, while two uniformed attendants and a young gentleman hide their sniggers and smirks at the comic verse below that, for all the dentist’s vast wealth, ‘Like many more twixt North and South, He does but live from Hand to Mouth’.
