Alexandre Briganti is a graduate of the Van der Kelen Higher Institute of Painting and is a member of the Taylor Foundation. He paints alla prima, creating intimate paintings of a rare intensity. Figurative art, as opposed to abstract art, retains features from the observable world in its representational depictions of subject matter.
