Eight French 19th century hand painted faïence oyster plates from Quimper from the HB manufacture presenting a floral décor, priced and sold individually. Born in the exquisite area of southern Brittany during the 19th century, this charming set of oyster plates was produced by the HB manufacture, one of the "faïenceries" of the capital of the ancient Cornouaille. HB, marked on the underside of the plates, stands for the faïenciers La Hubaudière and Bousquet. Adorned with a lovely floral décor painted with the typical blue, green, red and yellow colors, the plates exude an air of joyous air of naiveté typical of the production.
